It all started 18 months ago with a few guys getting together to support a friend going through a divorce and let him have a little fun with machine guns; things he had not experienced before.

After going through what some would call a flood, I made it out to Liberty for the 2016 Makin' Bacon Machine Gun Shoot benefiting the NFAFA. This was my first year shooting videos after I was asked by several friends to do so. I have used my camera very little for video and the light could have been better for a novice with a DSLR...
Makin' Bacon 3 came and went. It was a wet week heading into it with a very wet road. It was so wet, it required a decent sized truck to traverse the water covered county road. But, it was totally worth the shuttle service in and out of the event.
On January 31, 2015 a group of guys got together to let one-person experience machine guns, silencers and other assorted NFA fun things. What started as a couple people turned into quite a gathering of guys and gals with weapons ranging from silenced pistols, SBR’s, SBS’s, 308’s, .50’s, UZI’s, MAC’s, a RPD, a Browning 1919, and a tandem mount with dual MG42’s provided by Glenn Slaven with ESG Gunworks.
On the heels of January’s inaugural run, we had one massive turnout with people from all over the country. Due to heavy rainfall, the entry to Texas Machine Gun and Ordnance’s range was flooded. Therefore, we were blessed to have access to a private range in Magnolia, Texas. Thanks, Bob.
